Mahalakshmi J comes from a family facing several challenges. Due to her father’s alcohol-related difficulties, her grandfather takes responsibility for the family’s household needs and Mahalakshmi’s educational expenses. Her mother has vision loss in one eye and also faces difficulties managing the family. Mahalakshmi’s grandfather works as a farmer, but a lack of water has made farming increasingly difficult and affected the family’s income. Despite these hardships, Mahalakshmi continues her education with hope and determination. Educational support can help ease the family’s financial burden and give her the opportunity to continue pursuing her dreams.
